WEC '08 GP of Spain

The third round of the '08 World Enduro Championship proved to be both good and bad for Acerbis supported riders as Samuli Aro continued to dominate the Enduro 3 championship claiming a double class win at the GP of Spain while Juha Salminen suffered a costly DNF on day one in the Enduro 2 class before finishing as runner-up on day two.

(Juha Salminen puts Acerbis ahead in the '08 World Enduro Championship)

Finns Juha Salminen and Samuli Aro have put Acerbis at the top of the '08 World Enduro Championship standings following the GP of Portugal. Just as he did at the opening round of the WEC in Sweden Salminen finished second in the E2 class on day one before convincingly winning day two while Aro placed first in E3 on day one before finishing second on day two. The second round of the WEC proved to be an extremely difficult race for all riders, due to a challenging course and special tests and heavy rain on day two.
