Acerbis Koerta Roost Deflector - Pressure Suit

It is a fantastic product. One thing that impressed me is that a top rider like Marco Coma uses this pressure suit. If Marc Coma (Dakar Winner)uses Koerta; why not you!!! Excellent product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am here to type this due to a great part to the support from MX1WEST & the Acerbis gear they provided for my Dakar effort. I crashed at around 90mph in the Mauritanian desert. The Dakar Rallye crew evacuated me by helicopter & plane with a dislocated hip & cracked ribs, after being knocked out for 3 or 4 minutes. I was wearing an Acerbis 07 Impact jacket, pants, gloves, XTight boots & most importantly a Koerta Pressure Suit. I will never ride again without the Koerta Suit. It’s the best I have ever seen from any manufacturer. The pads are large & well placed. It fits very well & is comfortable through all ranges of motion. The part that most impressed me is the spine pad and this is the part that I believed saved me from much more severe injuries. After a few days in the hospital I began to realize the extent of my injuries & just how bad it could have been. I had a great deal of swelling around my injured leg & lower back. I had some cracked ribs and my spine was black and blue with bruising from the impact. Without the great amount of protection offered by the Koerta there is no doubt I would have sustained spinal & other internal injuries. Being able to walk & ride again in short amount of time is almost unbelievable. I must give a massive thank you to Jason and Amy at MX1WEST and of course to Franco Acerbis for making the Koerta in first place. Unfortunately the medics had to cut my Impact jacket and Koerta off of me to treat me. They will have all sizes of Koerta’s in stock by mid Feb. and I will be ordering one for myself, my wife & my son as soon as they are available. The other gear supplied by MX1WEST including Impact pants, gloves and XTight boots also performed flawlessly throughout the incredibly abusive stages of the rally. I am living, walking proof this line of gear works in the worst conditions. I will not use anything else for Harescrambles, the Baja 500 or my next try at Dakar. Tim Hall #149
